Climategate picking up steam on the MSM

Climategate is the talk of the net and has been for over a week now however its only just starting to make inroads on the mainstream media in the UK and in the US. Here in the UK the papers have started talking about the contents of the leaked emails and the blogosphere has been ablaze with debate on all sides. Although certain parts of the MSM seem happy to talk about the potential harm this leaked info may cause the AGW camp its still not broken through onto the major news channels such as the BBC and Sky news and the only mention of it has been in the context of a hack attack. In the US however Fox news seems to be quite happy to cover the subject with numerous interviews on various shows such as Glen Beck with Senators and climate sceptics as well as pro man made climate change believers.

The following video shows one segment on FOX with a phone interview with Senator Inhofe a sceptic and then Ed Begley, Jr who’s very pro AGW and who shows an erratic and almost religious fervour in defending the point of view that climate change is man made. This interview shows all that’s wrong with the current debate on climate change which is that those who worship at the altar of the new religion that is Anthropogenic Global Warming will refuse to even acknowledge apposing points of view and dismissively ignore any evidence that contradicts their science which they believe is a debate that has been settled.
