The following video takes a look at the NIST report on the collapse of WTC-7 which proponents of controlled demolition on 9/11 as the cause for the buildings destruction call the “smoking gun”. I have already covered most of the evidence this film looks at in an earlier essay titled “The Miracle of World Trade Center 7″ and I would urge people to take a look at that as well for more information about the problematic NIST report.
A detailed analysis of the NIST report into WTC-7 shows that it is flawed on a number of points. Not only was the report not peer reviewed but they started out with a pre-defined conclusion that explosives did NOT cause the collapse. They ignored contradictory evidence, ommitted facts about the buildings structure, and based their outcome on a flawed computer model with loaded parameters.
A fact of life is that anyone can make a computer model to prove whatever they want as long as they have control over the parameters the model uses to affect its behaviour. However if the aim of the model is to replicate an actual event as accurately as possible then the parameters should be fixed to those that represent the known values at the time of the event.
Creating a model in which only one part of steel re-inforced concrete is heated i.e the steel and not the concrete is obviously going to cause thermal expansion that is unrealistic. As the video states the whole point of steel re-inforced concrete is that when heated both materials expand together at the same rate. Therefore selectivley choosing to heat some parts of the building and not others is obviously going to cause abnormal reactions that did not happen on the day.
If the NIST investigators were having to resort to fixing the computer model to prove their case then this only makes any alternative version of events much stronger as it strongly suggests that the official story cannot be trusted.
