Rachel Maddow has somehow managed to tie Russia into the North Korean peace talks, once again attacking Trump from the right.
What has happened to the left?
Was it just the colour of Obama's skin that they fawned over, forgetting all the wars he started.
The extra bombs he dropped, much more than George W Bush.
The Drones, the collateral damage, the failure to pass a public option when he had the power to do so.
The removal of civil liberties, his absence from protests he promised to be at the front of when teachers protested and Wall St was swarming with Occupy protesters All people pissed at being stripped of their money by banksters which he did nothing to stop them losing their homes.
Their was the North Pole ice drilling, fracking, oil spills, drones killing babies and women and being called enemy combatants so they were not counted as accidental deaths.
The NDAA and not repealing the powers given to Bush after 9.11 which are no longer needed.
His locking up of whistle blowers and journalists and all the other non-liberal acts that they seem to forget about.
It seems these faux liberals on "liberal" networks are the new FOX news.
I bet Rachel just stares at a poster of Obama on the ceiling above her bed and wishes for a better time when the President had shaved hair not a wig.
That is the basics of it as US Foreign and domestic policy hardly ever changes when Presidents come and go. The deep state control the levers of power and Israel controls Congress.
America was destroyed as a moral compass years ago and many Americans don't seem to care or don't realise what has happened to their country.
Obama did nothing to stop it and if Hillary Clinton had been elected we would probably be in a nuclear bunker right now due to her angry nasty demeanor, her terrorist gun supplying through Libya to Syria, and her cranking up of war threats to Russia who have done nothing that the US doesn't do by a factor of -500%. Was invited to Syria to help defeat ISIS which would be complete now if the Axis of War hadn't just decided it was their right to bomb any country they want.
Trump is low hanging fruit to mock but if he actually delivers peace (we will have to wait and see), then shouldn't the likes of Rachel Maddow be happy about de-escalation of nuclear war or will she find another way to tie Russia into some narrative so we can all burn in a radioactive cloud.
Are we creating a false fear of war with North Korea?
By Dark Politricks
As this video shows, this is how the "establishment media" sells wars to the populace by fear mongering and leaving out parts of statements by the "enemy" that would provide context to otherwise threatening language.
Tonight the BBC showed a controversial Panorama programme in which the BBC tricked the London School of Economicsinto allowing their film crew to hop along with a trip of students to the country.
Three journalists accompanied 10 London School of Economics students and spent eight days in the country.
The university and its students' union have demanded the corporation withdraw the programme.
But BBC head of news programmes Ceri Thomas said the North Korean government was the only party the corporation had deceived.
If you can access BBC iPlayer or have the Firefox plugin Modify Headers and can find a UK IP address then you can view the programme (probably tomorrow) here >> Panorama North Korea Undercover
To be fair, the North Korean state is a Stalinist, Nationalist dictatorship in which rule passes down a family line and the new young ruler is most likely showing strength and acting out to secure his position internally.
However despite the rhetoric and the fact that his armed forces are a million strong they are armed with antiquated weaponry, old Russian tanks and rifles and their nuclear bombs are most likely stolen or bought from the black market.
It is true that the North Korean regime is a horrible communist nightmare in which hundreds of thousands of people are locked up in gulags and camps. The people have suffered multiple famines in which grass became the main available food for the "workers" whilst the ruling family and generals most likely ate like kings.
As George Orwell said in Animal Farm, some animals are more equal than others and I suspect that is undoubtedly the case in North Korea right now.
However despite all this the two Korea's are still technically at war. No peace treaty has ever been signed between the North and South since the war ended in the 50's and therefore the two countries are still on a war footing.
The USA is committed to backing up the South and China the North, therefore any miscalculation by the Koreans or American's could easily lead to an outbreak of war. It would be foolish if we allowed this to happen because of propaganda and lies.
We have to realise that North Korea is not stupid.
They saw what happened to Iraq and Libya when they gave up their WMD's. To them, a nuclear weapon is the ultimate guarantee of safety from attack. This is probably the same thinking that the Iranians have.
They have explicitly said this time after time and if anything their ratcheting up of war talk is aimed at getting peace talks started again.
However it is not North Korea preventing a peace treaty between all sides from occurring but the pre-conditions set by the Americans that the North give up all their nuclear ambitions that is stopping a peace treaty from being signed.
Who is the USA, the only country to have used a nuclear bomb in anger, to decide who is and who isn't allowed nuclear weapons?
When we have countries like Israel who are stocked to the teeth with nuclear weaponry being allowed to continue their nuclear ambitions whilst talking about attacking Iran for even thinking about having their own. It is no wonder that North Korea is not willing to give up the ultimate deterrent.
When we are not even willing to budge on our own nuclear capability and allow our friends to own nuclear weapons whilst declaring our enemies ambitions off limits it is no wonder that a large part of the world see's this hypocrisy and then calculates that only by having nuclear bombs will it prevent an attack by the axis of war i.e US/UK/France.
North Korea is not a pleasant place to live and their rulers are despots. However the way to overcome this is by signing a peace treaty, allowing open borders and people from both sides of Korea to cross the border and see that they are not so different after all.
Once North Korea can stop diverting all it's money from it's armed forces to actually modernising it's country then things might change.
However it seems we are once again stuck in the 80's. Trying to defeat a communist regime by bankrupting and starving them to submission by forcing them to spend money they don't have on defensive measures because they are rightly paranoid of attack.
It may have worked with the USSR but North Korea has held on much longer and seems willing to let their citizens resort to eating grass or cannibalism so that it's few resources can be spent maintaining ancient weaponry that would be wiped out immediately if any war started.
Lets just hope people our side of the divide are not fooled into war once again like we were with Iraq and Libya.
The neo-cons are probably flipping coins at the moment deciding whether to attack Iran or North Korea and propaganda like the sort we are constantly being fed at the moment about North Korea threatening to nuke us without giving us the full context is not helping at all.
Remember - find the facts out for yourself and don't rely on the mainstream media for your nightly statements of fear.

Whilst seemingly everyone else in the UK is out in the pouring rain celebrating the Queens Diamond Jubilee today I thought to myself - "why is that there are no anti-royalist protests going on anywhere in London."
Believe it or not Americans, but not everyone in the UK is a royalist who loves nothing more than drinking tea out of a Union Jack mug and standing to attention to the words of "God Save the Queen".
In fact most of those that are not over the age of 40 and do support the Queen and Royalty in general probably do so for the reason of tourism money from overseas tourists eager to photograph Buckingham Palace and watch the pageantry of the Changing of the Guard and other historical anomalies.
Well if you love pageantry so much then you should watch more North Korean Soviet style marching and intricate coloured panel shuffling. That kind of split second timing, probably with the threat of no food for the year as punishment for a wrong move. Now that is pageantry worth watching.
I don't get tickled watching the Queen wave forever as boat after boat of every kind passes her on the Thames.
Every country in the commonwealth will have some kind of tribal dance, song, or gift of their culture to bring to their ex colonial rulers.
Why they choose to keep the Queen as head of their state is their decision but in my eyes a free country should be able to pick their "ultimate leader" not bestow it to a family who can trace their routes back to olden day Kings who robbed, stole and murdered their way to the top.
I suppose most republicans like myself just don't care enough to stand and shout in the rain at a line of militarised police thugs phasers set to stun as the Queen, the person who "is the law of the land" takes my taxes and lives in luxury. Not when I can watch TV, surf the net and happily succumb to monitoring by the establishment at every level.
Whilst tourism money is a good thing in these days of austerity, it is NOT a good enough reason to allow one particular family who through luck of birth alone can lord it above us - no matter how nice they are as people 0r how cute a bum the future Kings wive's sister might have.
I have even had the Queen walk past me (whilst snipers laid on the roof of Buckingham Palace) at one of the many garden parties she hosts every summer.
Obviously it wasn't me who was invited to the formal event but my mother who had won the "honour" of bringing her family due to her brilliance at turning a failing school around so that it won the top Ofsted awards 3 times in a row - a feat that not many other head teachers accomplish.
So whilst I don't believe the Queen is a baby killing reptillian who has to drink human blood to keep her shape like some do. I do on a rational and logical level feel that everyone in our country should be equal under the eyes of the law no matter who they are born to.
If anyone thinks we live in a meritocracy then think again quickly.
If the Queen was walking her pack of corgis around one of her many tax payer funded palaces one day and they turned and mauled the gardener to death do you really think you would read about it in the papers?
Would the Queen ever be arrested and face her day in court?
Of course not because she IS THE LAW.
When you stand in the dock you are facing charges laid out by the Crown and when you are in a Crown Court facing the possibility of spending years in jail at "her majesties pleasure" then you should realise that all that mention of the "Crown" is not for pageantry sake.
No the Queen IS the Crown and she IS the law.
Therefore it is a logical impossibility in this land of ours that she would ever put a crown case against herself.
Crown versus the Crown.
Nope never going to happen no matter how unlikely the scenario.
Until the day I know that the person who has the privilege of leading our land is no more or less important than everyone else., including a poor baby born in a Hackney council estate to a single parent. A child with the same life chances to be educated, succeed and maybe one day replace the current leader then I will firmly be in the Republican camp.
Let the suckers stand in the rain and spend their day waving their rain soaked clothes at a woman who is only celebrating her Diamond jubilee because we as a people are too lethargic to form a proper Republican party that has true meritocracy at the heart of it.
