The UK Is Becoming More Despotic Every Day

CIA Wanted To Assassinate Julian Assange Whilst In the Ecuadorian Embassy

By Dark Politricks

Hopefully by now you have read about the CIA's plans to assassinate Julian Assange in a shoot out at the Ecuadorian Embassy when he was holed up there in his 5th year.

An investigation revealed the CIA planned to abduct, kidnap, or assassinate WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and senior officials inside the CIA asked for "sketches" or "options" to be drawn up as to how these acts could be carried out on Assange.

A Yahoo News investigation has discovered that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) had plans to kidnap and assassinate Julian Assange while he was held up in the Ecuadorian Embassy in early 2017. It was his fifth straight year there as Wikileaks continued to reveal crimes against humanity by several governments and, or often in collusion with, big powerful multinational corporations.

Some National Security Council officials worried that the CIA’s proposals to kidnap Assange would not only be illegal but also might jeopardize the prosecution of the WikiLeaks founder. Concerned the CIA’s plans would derail a potential criminal case, the Justice Department expedited the drafting of charges against Assange to ensure that they were in place if he were brought to the United States.

In late 2017, in the midst of the debate over kidnapping and other extreme measures, the agency’s plans were upended when U.S. officials picked up what they viewed as alarming reports that Russian intelligence operatives were preparing to sneak Assange out of the United Kingdom and spirit him away to Moscow.

The intelligence reporting about a possible breakout was viewed as credible at the highest levels of the U.S. government. At the time, Ecuadorian officials had begun efforts to grant Assange diplomatic status as part of a scheme to give him cover to leave the embassy and fly to Moscow to serve in the country’s Russian mission.

In response, the CIA and the White House began preparing for a number of scenarios to foil Assange’s Russian departure plans, according to three former officials.

Those included potential gun battles with Kremlin operatives on the streets of London, crashing a car into a Russian diplomatic vehicle transporting Assange and then grabbing him, and shooting out the tires of a Russian plane carrying Assange before it could take off for Moscow.

You can watch this news expose on the Yahoo investigation here, or on YouTube at The Hill.

The most important part I want you to note is that, U.S. officials asked their British counterparts to do the shooting if gunfire was required, and the British agreed, according to a former senior administration official.

This means the British Tory Government was prepared to break international law, and almost cause a potential war with Russia by acting for the Americans in shooting at Russian Diplomatic vehicles and planes

Who can wonder what would have happened if this had occurred but it worries me greatly that the UK is now so despotic that it would even consider helping the USA in such a plan.

We no longer have most of our civil liberties due to the COVID law that was meant to stay on the books for just 2 years. Boris has already extended them until September and hasn't ruled out extending them again.  Lest I remind you I warned you of this 2 years ago when they were implemented and recently again, they are the greatest loss of civil rights and liberty since WWII.

The new Police Bill the Tories are passing will ban protests that the police deem "too loud". Protests are naturally loud. Without them many people would not even know was going on in this country, despite the MSM labelling protesters as anti-vaxers when they are in fact against 2 tier society based on vaccine passports and mandated vaccination which have now proved to be almost useless due to the anti-bodies not lasting long enough, or protecting against variants of the virus.

You only need to look at Israel one of the highest vaccinated countries on earth who just recorded their highest no of COVID infections since the peak of their 3rd wave to see how the vaccines are not working. They are now mandating 3 shots and then probably 4 and then monthly all due to the anti-bodies not lasting long enough compared to natural immunity.

We should be working on vaccines properly such as those that cured Polio, and we have as children for Mumps that keep the anti-bodies longer throughout our lifetime however this takes time and Big Pharma cannot wait to make more money.

What's more important to them, make billions more now by getting countries to buy more products and mandate more shots or spend money and time working on a proper vaccine cure with long term trials and testing for this virus.

The Tories plan to make it illegal for journalists, bloggers, anyone to report on illegal activity carried out by the British State, I guess this would include the Yahoo news investigation on the plans to have a shoot out with Russian agents on the streets of London all to help an ally assassinate a journalist who has never been proved wrong once and is being tortured slowly in a High Max prison at Belmarsh when he should be on bail.

This country is turning into something I really do not like the look of. If you are planning on having children I would seriously look around and take a look at what our country is becoming. Not only do we protect al-Qaeda and ISIS in Syria from being exterminated by Russian and Syrian forces but we plot and plan constantly against Russia whilst accusing them of doing the same sort of activities that we are doing ourselves.

We are looking more and more like China every day, and soon as possible we will be implementing Chinese style Social Credit systems on the populace to keep us in check.

Soon there will be no skilled manual jobs as AI and Robotics take over from human labour. Automatic driving vehicles and drones to deliver packages and fast food. There will be less need for people to work skilled jobs and the jobs that you used to need a degree for will all be home based solitary activities where you communicate with workers by ZOOM and have little social interaction.

This is part of the Governments aim to reduce CO2 emissions by preventing people from driving to and from work.

Do you really want to spend your life working in solitude with no social interaction?

It's what made me leave my last job as it was just so unfulfilling but bosses will save money from renting office space and care little about employees mental health when they can make more money for themselves.

Soon towns will become desolate areas with one big Amazon depot in the middle, auto driving lorries delivering and transporting goods, drones flying in and out and the only jobs will be gig work for people who get sacked by text message when they can't deliver food for people in time due to petrol shortages at garages caused by the lack of foresight from our government.

I just think our country is going down hill and this latest story about willing to almost start WWIII over killing a journalist is just too much for me to stand.

Please leave your comments about the state of the UK below. I would be interested to know what you think about it.

Is Julian Assange just a criminal on the run or a hero?

Is Julian Assange a hero or a rapist trying to avoid justice

By Dark Politricks

After the much awaited speech given from the balcony of the very unluxurious Ecuadorian embassy by Julian Assange the other day the whole world is debating the question - "Is Julian Assange a hero or a rapist trying to avoid justice".

The text of the speech in full is at the bottom of the page but it has led commentators all around the world to denounce Julian Assange as just a sex offender trying to avoid justice whilst totally ignoring the rest of the relevant pieces surrounding his case.

Quotes about the speech:
"what was much more serious - the elephant in the room, so to speak - was Assange's wilful failure to say anything about the actual reason that the Swedish police want to question him." - Andy McSmith - The Independent.
"Odious Julian Assange loved every second of his pompous balcony rant. His speech was long on egotistical claptrap, but oddly failed to mention what this extradition case is actually about — the rape of one woman and sexual molestation of another." - The Sun
"Not since the Argentines invaded the Falklands has Britain had its tail so humiliatingly tweaked by a Latin American dictatorship. Suddenly, Ecuador is on the lips of people who previously would have struggled to find it on a map. All this merry mayhem is, of course, being orchestrated by Assange, who continues to play the British governing class for suckers." - Melanie Phillips - Daily Mail
"He's not going anywhere"' Metropolitan police officer.

In fact you would be hard pressed to find many mainstream media commentators giving a good word to Julian who is facing sexual assault charges - charges that the Ecuadorian President said the other day do not even exist on his countries law books - like many others.

Charges that relate to two WikiLeak "groupies" who had sex with Assange on consecutive nights and allowed him to have sex without a condom. They may have protested about that last bit once they found out about each other but not before and it seems a strange law to charge someone on in the first place. If we were arresting every man in the world who didn't like wearing a condom when having sex there would be very few men left.

However it seems these constitute crimes in Sweden and many people ask why Julian doesn't just go and face his accusers.

The answer is simple.

He is very, very afraid that the Swedes will pass him along to the the American's who are literally frothing at the mouth at the damage he has done to their national security. First by realising tapes of their pilots cheering as they massacred a crowd of reporters and men without guns in Iraq and then the WikiLeaks release of the #Cablegate stash of US embassy emails which have made many a Middle Eastern nation look like two faced liars who say one thing in public and another to their neighbours in private.

More worryingly for Assange is the way that the presumed source of the information a Private Bradley Manning has been treated by the US military. He has been stripped naked, held in a cell for many months without anything to do and basically treated in the most horrible way possible - some even claim this constitutes torture.

He is now facing a charge of possible death or life imprisonment (if prosecutors keep their word)  for communicating national defense information to an unauthorized source and aiding the enemy. His chances do not look good.

Therefore as the UK does not extradite to countries where there is  the possibility of the death penalty and a multitude of US commentators and government employees have stated that he deserves two in the head. It is no wonder Julian is afraid of going to Sweden as he honestly believes it is a ruse to get him sent to the USA.

As no charges have actually been laid out against Assange and the Swedish police only want to "question him" it seems far fetched that in this day and age a compromise could not be made out which allowed for this questioning.

Over a hundred years ago there was this amazing invention called the telephone that allowed people at far distance from each other to communicate by voice.

In the last twenty years we have had Skype, Video Conferencing, Messenger and other tools that would allow for a full face to face interview that could be recorded, analysed and allow the Swedish police to ask their questions without any expensive plane travel.

But why should Julian Assange get special treatment you might ask.

Well he shouldn't and the the same rules should apply to all European citizens.

The European Arrest Warrant is a joke that allows Brits to be dragged from their beds and sent of to Eastern European jails on the say so of a Polish or Greek police commander.

Just like the unfair and unbalanced UK to USA extradition treaty. Which can see British people carted off to spend long time in orange jumpsuits without any evidence being examined in a UK court first as a US citizen has the right to before extradition here. Both of these extradition treaties should be abolished ASAP.

Therefore I don't say that Julian is just trying to avoid spurious charges that only emerged after each woman found out about the other but I say that he is blatantly scared shitless of being sent to the USA.

Also as I predicted in my last article the whole of South America is now standing in unison behind Ecuador after the British threat to storm their embassy which has only increased tension with a region that we are already having difficulty with.

From the  BBC news website.
The Union of South American Nations said it backed Ecuador after Mr Assange publicly thanked it and other South American countries for their support.

A document agreed at the Union of South American Nations meeting said it supported the country "in the face of the threat" to its London embassy.

.. in the context of the UK's perceived heavy-handed approach to the recent question of Argentina's renewed claim over the Falkland Islands - the British government's reputation in South America was undoubtedly being affected by this stand-off.

As I predicted - the fact that a country with a far from clean human rights history is making supposed western liberal and free countries look like despotic dangers to world civility is a stain on our own moral standing across the world. Plus it has swelled the chest of Latin and South America to extreme proportions.

If the Brits storm the embassy they will look like criminals in the eyes of many countries - fairly or not and if they let Julian hop onto a plane to Ecuador they will look like sops in the eyes of the USA and a million Daily Mail readers eyes.

The best thing would be to come to a compromise as suggested by Ecuador's President Rafael Correa who suggested Mr Assange could co-operate with Sweden but only if assurances were given that there would be no extradition to a third country. Any breaking of such an agreement would make the USA look like the "great Satan" Iran always claims they are and it would allow Julian to fulfill his obligations to face Swedish police questions and possible charges.

Whatever happens it looks like a farce from both sides of the argument.

Here is the full text of Julian Assange's speech:

I am here today because I cannot be there with you today, but thank you for coming. Thank you for your resolve, your generosity and spirit.

On Wednesday night, after a threat was sent to this embassy, and police descended on this building, you came out in the middle of the night to watch over it, and you brought the world’s eyes with you.

Inside the embassy, after dark, I could hear teams of police swarming up into the building through the internal fire escape. But I knew that there would be witnesses and that is because of you.

If the UK did not throw away the Vienna Conventions the other night, it is because the world was watching and the world was watching because you were watching.

The next time somebody tells you that it is pointless to defend those rights we hold dear, remind them of your vigil in the dark before the embassy of Ecuador. Remind them how in the morning the sun came up on a different world, and a courageous Latin American nation took a stand for justice.

And so, to those brave people, I thank President Correa for the courage he has shown in considering and in granting me political asylum. And I also thank the government, and the particular Foreign Minister, Ricardo Patino, who have upheld the Ecuadorian Constitution and its notion of universal citizenship in their consideration of my asylum

And to the Ecuadorian people for supporting and defending this Constitution. And I also have a debt of gratitude to the staff of the embassy, whose families live in London, and who have been showing me hospitality and kindness despite the threats we’ve all received.

This Friday there will be an emergency meeting of the foreign ministers of Latin America in Washington, DC, to address this very situation. And so I am grateful to those people and governments of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Venezuela and to all other Latin American countries who have come out to defend the right to asylum.

To the people of the United States, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Australia, who have supported me in strength, even when their governments have not. And to those wiser heads in government who are still fighting for justice. Your day will come.

To the staff, supporters and sources of WikiLeaks, whose courage and commitment and loyalty has seen no equal.

To my family and to my children, who have been denied their father. Forgive me. We will be reunited soon.

As WikiLeaks stands under threat, so does the freedom of expression, and the health of our societies. We must use this moment to articulate the choice that is before the government of the United States of America.

Will it return to and reaffirm the revolutionary values it was founded on? Or will it lurch off the precipice, dragging us all into a dangerous and oppressive world, in which journalists fall silent under the fear of prosecution and citizens must whisper in the dark?

I say it must turn back.

I ask President Obama to do the right thing.

The United States must renounce its witch-hunt against WikiLeaks.

The United States must dissolve its FBI investigation.

The United States must vow that it will not seek to prosecute our staff or our supporters.

The United States must pledge before the world that it will not pursue journalists for shining a light on the secret crimes of the powerful.

There must be no more foolish talk about prosecuting any media organization, be it WikiLeaks or be it the New York Times.

The US administration’s war on whistleblowers must end.

Thomas Drake, and William Binney, and John Kiriakou and the other heroic US whistleblowers must — they must be pardoned and compensated for the hardships they’ve endured as servants of the public record.

And the Army Private who remains in a military prison in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, who was found by the United Nations to have endured months of torturous detention in Quantico, Virginia, and who has yet — after two years in prison — to see a trial—He must be released. Bradley Manning must be released. If Bradley Manning did as he accused, he is a hero and an example to all of us and one of the world’s foremost political prisoners. Bradley Manning must be released.

On Wednesday, Bradley Manning spent his 815th day of detention without trial. The legal maximum is 120 days.

On Thursday, my friend, Nabeel Rajab, president of the Bahrain Human Rights Center, was sentenced to 3 years for a tweet.

On Friday, a Russian band [Pussy Riot] was sentenced to 2 years in jail for a political performance.

There is unity in the oppression.

There must be absolute unity and determination in the response.

Thank you.

Ecuador grants Julian Assange asylum but the UK threatens to storm the embassy and take him forcibly

By Dark Politricks

So if you haven't heard yet Ecuador after months of waiting has finally offered Julian Assange asylum.

From the BBC site:
Ecuador has granted asylum to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange two months after he took refuge in its London embassy while fighting extradition from the UK.
It cited fears that Mr Assange's human rights might be violated. Foreign Secretary William Hague said the UK would not allow Mr Assange's safe passage out of the country.
This comes after threats from the UK government that they would forcibly enter the embassy, breaking all international norms and arrest Julian whether he was on Ecuadorian soil or not.

Yes we have sent the SAS into the Iranian embassy before but this was after a hostage situation.

Not to arrest a man who is blatantly being set-up to be extradited to Sweden just so he can be passed to the USA and spend the rest of his life in an orange jumpsuit or even tied to a gurney as some US commentators have wished.

Remember this is a man who the Swedish police want to "question" on allegations that he had sex with two women on consecutive nights and didn't wear a condom. If it was rape, and the women really didn't want him to have sex without a condom then it would be rape he would be getting questioned on and not these weird charges that seemingly only exist in Sweden.

Instead it looks like a Prima facia case of two women scorned once they found out they were not the only Swedish women in Julian's life.

I wonder how they will feel if they see their once idol being sent down for life in a US court room all because they couldn't handle the fact he had sex with another woman.

The Swedish police have been offered numerous chances to either interview Julian over the phone or come to the Ecuadorian embassy to interview him in person but they have turned them all down.

This only makes me thing the true purposes of their wish to interview him on Swedish soil is nothing more than a ruse to then pass him off to their US masters.

I used to think Sweden was a pretty liberal country but then so was Holland before they started shutting down the coffee shops to non Dutch people and going big time on the Islamophobia.

Whether you like Julian Assange or WikiLeaks or not you have to admire his guts for sticking two fingers up to the establishment and for Ecuador doing the same.

How they will manage to get Julian Assange out the county though is another matter. ]

As soon as he walks out the door I reckon a dozen of London's finest truncheon wielding, women beating, minority beating, protester killing, stun gun firing cops will be on top of him in an instant.

Maybe a helicopter on the roof with a transfer to a plane off the coast is the only option.

Any shooting down of such a helicopter will cause havoc and be treated as a sign of war and I wouldn't be surpised if Argentina weighed in on the Falkland Island issue which has boiled up again.

Latin America is no longer the USA's playground and they have the balls to say what they want when they want and from the granting of aslyum to Julian Assange doing what they want as well.

Why we are going full out to capture a man who has revealed the massacring of civilians in Iraq, the illegal bugging of UN delegates by US officials as well as numerous other illegal activities in the #Cablegate release I don't know.

It sure puts an end to our respect for "human rights" and our supposed protection for whistle blowers when we know what is going to happen to Julian.

All the time we bleat on about human rights abuses in Syria we support and fund al-Qaeda on the one hand and supposedly fight them on the other all the way from Afghanistan, Kosovo, Libya and now Syria.

Our hypocrisy on human rights and our phony war on terror knows no limits.

Our world is upside down at the moment and our support for terrorism in one country whilst we ignore human rights abuses in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia along with our own silencing of voices who speak truth to power is a sign of the times we are living in.

I just hope Julian manages to make it out the country without being shot or tasered first.

This new rebel army massacre won't stop the USA/UK's support for the Free Syrian Army

By Dark Politricks

A new video released by Syrian rebels fighting President Assad in Syria apparently showing them shooting captured troops loyal to President Assad has not been mentioned in the western media but the western TV stations love to parrot the line whenever the shoe is on the other foot.

You can find some of the video on the Guardian one of the few papers that has some modicum of balance even though it is definitely not independent in any way it is mostly anti-war in its articles. The text above the video goes:
"Amateur footage purports to show pro-Assad militia captured by rebels, who are seen collecting their dead as fierce clashes continue in Aleppo. Government forces continue to shell Syria's largest city, including the rebel stronghold of Salaheddin. The Turkish prime minister, Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan, and US defence secretary, Leon Panetta, say time is running out for Syrian president Bashar al-Assad"
Not exactly singing the same sort of tune as the "town about to be massacred" and "Assad troops massacre civilians and rebels" etc that has been covering the media over the weeks including by the same Guardian paper trying to give some form of balance however small to both sides of this civil war in Syria.

You can find more balanced views (in that I mean a view opposing the western one so that you can make your own mind up) on rt.com or Russia Today.

Yes the same international TV station that is attacked by Hillary Clinton, Western news pundits and others for its "pro-Kremlin" views, a KGB front and so on. The video they show is below:

The article that goes with it can be found here: War Crime? Syrian rebels execute captured policeman on tape.

This article has more than a slightly different slant on matters than the Guardian one which goes to show how one journalist's writing can turn A into B and people who only read from one news source will undoubtedly get a skewed outlook on matters.

Now I would never advise anyone to get their news only from one source but you should never, never just believe what you are told by the Western media who are mostly owned and controlled by the same few rich families and organisations.

Editorial control they call it, a reason given by Julian Assange when he fell out with the Guardian when they refused to show certain documents, videos from his #cablegate release.

The same one that might see him end up in an orange jumpsuit in the USA.

Why the Swedish police cannot just interview him over the phone or in the Ecuadorian embassy I don't know but he hasn't even been charged with a crime.

Supposedly they only want to talk to him about about certain crimes that can only be described as "unusual" and involve two girls who were WikiLeak "fans" or "benefactors" who obviously had a crush on him having sex with him on consecutive nights.

The two girls found out about each other and as some may say - "Hell has no fury like a woman  scorned" they both went to the police and accused Julian of having sex with him without wearing a condom!

Now I don't know how this is a crime as they obviously let him do it otherwise it would be rape or sexual assault but nonetheless the Swedes want him in their country for interviewing.

At the moment he is in the Ecuadorian embassy in London waiting for the Ecuadorian's to make their mind up about asylum whilst I guess the Americans threaten that country with everything under the sun but it all seems like madness to me.

If you could be arrested and locked up for having sex without a condom then how many men out there would be in prison right now?

Anyway back to the point - get your news from opposing points of view and then make your own mind up. Do not believe everything your told whatever channel it comes from.

Russia Today may be the spawn of the KGB and Kremlin propaganda in some peoples eyes but it most definitely gives a voice to those people the western media overlook.

However remember this is the channel that gave Julian Assange his own "The World Tomorrow" interview show to talk to people the western news channels wouldn't dare talk to.

If I want news or details of political crimes and Russian mafia like governance then I wouldn't expect Russia Today to give it to me.

In the same way I don't expect my countries own news channels to attack their government and the crush of our civil rights and the rising police state in the same way.

However Russia Today allows rebels, dissidents, people considered "unpatriotic" and all the other BS names FOX and other channels throw about in the USA to appear on their channels frequently.

Everybody from members of Anonymous, WikiLeaks to Alex Jones, Glenn Greenwald and Norman Finkelstein at the very least.

People the western shows stay away from like a turd on a stick.

So when you hear about Assad and the next town about to be massacred just remember that war crimes are being committed and admitted by the UN Human Rights council by both sides in this civil war.

Only last week the Free Syrian Army committed massive attacks in the capital that killed numerous civilians as well as the Syrian Defence Minister. UN human rights chief Navi Pillay said last week:
"Pillay cited unconfirmed reports of atrocities including executions and shooting of civilians by snipers during recent fighting in the Syrian capital Damascus. Her office had also been receiving an increasing number of reports of opposition fighters torturing or executing prisoners, and reports that unarmed prisoners had been killed in the central prisons of Aleppo and Homs during uprisings in the past week, in violation of international law. "
This is a civil war and should be left as such without all the arming and funding by Saudia Arabia and Qatar with help from US/UK/French war mongerers who don't seem to learn anything.

Especially that if you put religious fanatics into power including your supposed "mortal enemy" you end up with Libya.

A country now run by ex LIFG / al-Qaeda members, rebel armies controlling towns and summary executions of people with links to Gadaffi or black skin.

Just remember what happened when the CIA helped create al-Qaeda in their fight against the Soviets in Afghanistan. Blowback and bombings and then 9.11.

Syria and Libya are a lot closer to home than Afghanistan and before "our help" their leaders, as crazy and despotic as they may seem to us, they were a hell of a lot nicer than our "ally" Saudi Arabia. A medieval country run under ancient barbaric laws with no respect for human rights and women.

If foreign policy was logical this would have been the target of any post-9.11 attack due to the number of hijackers that were Saudi Arabian and all the funding of terror groups it does regularly - but then they supply us oil and Bush's family have a "close" relationship with the House of Saud.

But when has western foreign policy ever been logical and when does the enemy of our enemy stay our enemy and not our friend?

Why Julian Assange should be granted asylum by Ecuador

By Dark Politricks

This episode of "The World Tomorrow" is the final show in the Russia Today series of interviews Julian Assange has been carrying out over the last couple of months.

He has interviewed everyone from Presidents, revolutionary leaders from the Arab Spring and Occupy Movement to intellectuals and "terrorist" leaders and if you have missed any of the shows you can watch them on my main site darkpolitricks.com/tag/the-world-tomorrow/

Lets all cross our fingers and hope Ecuador gives Julian Assange political asylum.

Rafael Correa, the President of that Ecuador was one of Julian's interviewees and the two seemed to get on really well so he may have more than an average chance of gaining asylum.

Add to this relationship the leftist group of Southern American nations, of which Ecuador is one, dislike of American Imperialism as they see it and they may just give him asylum to stick two fingers up to the empire.

However even if he and President Rafael Correa aren't the best of buddies there are many reasons why any country should give Julian Assange asylum including:
  • The USA uses Torture - a breach of international law
  • US prisons are hell holes full of male rape, drugs, violence and murder. Julian would not last very long in a US high security prison.
  • The USA executes people for certain crimes. We don't do that in Europe. We have a modicum of human rights even though they are being constantly downgraded as I speak.
  • The USA has thrown away the rule book and has decided it and it alone can be the arbitrary decider of which country is "moral" whilst attacking those it dislikes. There is no other reason why it sucks the cock of Saudi Arabia one of the most repressive and backward regimes in the world, selling it weaponry and buying it's oil whilst it boycotts Iranian oil, attacks Syria for defending it's own country from al-Qaeda terrorists and attacks China for human rights violations whilst carrying out many of the same violations itself.
  • The US military have basically tortured a US soldier Bradley Manning to get information on Julian Assange so that he can be tried under their espionage act. Something that doesn't apply to him seeing that he is not an American citizen or was in the US when the documents were obtained.
  • Julian Assange is a whistle blower that has broken many stories that the US should be protecting him for doing so. Under their own legal system whistle blowers are supposed to be accorded protection but this attack on Julian Assange, WikiLeaks and other whistle blowers shows this to be nothing more than fiction. WikiLeaks has shown the US military at it's worst - massacring Iraqi civilians, releasing documents that shows the USA has no regard for international treaties by it's desire to bug UN delegates as well as many other documents that show the USA's duplicity and illegality in world affairs.
  • The USA is using all the political pressure it can to ensure Julian Assange ends up in an orange jumpsuit. I hope he doesn't.
  • It is a shocking indictment on the West - supposed upholder of human rights and liberty that the only places that Julian Assange can get asylum are South American leftist countries like Ecuador or Venezuela or even maybe Cuba
Why is it that no European country that supposedly stands for liberty, free speech and the rule of law has offered Julian asylum?

It would be interesting to see what would happen if Russia or China offered it to him as well as the Americans response to it. I only hope that they grow a pair and do so along with many other western countries.
As for the "The World Tomorrow" show on Russia Today this is the last show in the series.

In show ten Julian Assange speaks to the leader of the Malaysian opposition - Anwar Ibrahim. As a rising internal rival to the former Prime Minister Mahathir, Anwar was imprisoned for 5 years after being smeared with sex allegations including sodomy.

As a result of a popular campaign in 2004, his conviction was overturned and he was released from prison.

In 2008, he was again targeted for sex crimes allegations, he won the case earlier this year.

With elections looming with Anwar tipped to win, he has now been charged with unauthorised assembly. If found convicted, he will be prevented from running. Julian Assange talks to him about how he has survived and what he sees as the future of Asia and the West.

If you've missed the previous episodes, you can always watch them on my main site www.darkpolitricks.com under the tag "The World Tomorrow" or you can visit Julian's own site for the TV show at http://assange.RT.com.

Whether you love him, hate him, think he's a useful idiot or an Israeli tool you should respect Julian's right to free speech and the fact he has blown the whistle on a number of major American atrocities and international crimes. For that he should not be punished but applauded.
