The US Presidential Vote - Do you have another choice?

The US Presidential Vote - Do you have another choice?

By Dark Politricks

Before you go off to vote for Obama or Mitt Romney, both of which I think are poor choices and will do nothing good for America or the world if they win the election, you should have a look at the last third party Presidential debate between Gary Johnson of the Libertarian Party and Jill Stein from the Green Party.

But they are from the far right and far left respectively you might say to yourself, what's the point? Well if they are from the extremes of politics then extremism from both sides seem to agree on a lot of points that seem pretty sensible to me.

Points the main two contenders Obama and Romney have not spoken about at all.

Points such as:
  • Stopping the wars abroad and ending the militarisation of the police at home.
  • Repealing the PATRIOT ACT, the NDAA, TRAPWIRE, the warrantless wiretapping, scrapping the TSA porno scanners and stopping the rise towards Amerika the police state that everyone can see approaching.
  • Closing the hundreds of military bases around the globe and stopping the endless war on a tactic that can never be won i.e. the war on terror.
  • Stopping another pointless war that will never be won i.e. the war on drugs. Imagine how much tax revenue would be created to fill your empty coffers by not wasting police time, building endless prisons and taxing a safer, cleaner version of the drugs people are always going to use and have done since the beginning of time?
  • Using those billions of dollars that you would save by doing this to do something much more productive whether it be fixing the massive deficit and cutting national debt or giving everyone free health care and a chance to get themselves back on their feet after the bankster take over of 2008.
  • Stopping the crushing corporate control of the banksters, ending the FED and putting the people that ruined the worlds economy in jail and not in charge of the country.
  • Preventing wars and promoting democracy by being an example to the world as your country used to be. Instead of forcing democracy down other countries throats with drone attacks, torture and endless imprisonment that only serves to create a new generation of enemies for Americans sons and daughters to fight in the future.
If these all seem like extremist views to you then go ahead make your choice between the lesser of two evils at the ballot box today.

However in a few years time when your country is at war in Iran and extending the deficit to pay for it. Or cutting your local fire and police stations, closing schools and libraries all to pay for tax cuts to the top 1%. The same people who helped destroy your economy and have been the only segment of society to actually prosper since 2008, then you have no-one else to blame but your broken political system.

A political system that makes it so hard for third party candidates to get a national platform they have to rely on foreign TV stations and alternative websites to bring you their debates and hear people answer the questions that really matter in the age of surveillance and never ending wars.

It is a political system that makes it necessary for you to have to bend over to lobbyists and corporate interests to fund the millions of dollars required to run for President.

The money required to pay for adverts and robot calls has to come from somewhere and they just don't have the funds at the moment. Plus you can forget about getting a chance to debate the main two parties on a level footing as that little dance is all tied up in a neat little bow between both camps.

Ron Paul did a good job staying in the GOP race long enough to bring some of the libertarian ideas to the forefront of people's minds but once Mitt Romney had been selected it was game over. It was left to the victors of the Citizens United decision to bombard your country with lies and mis-truths in their hope to get you to vote for more of the same politics that America has had for the last twenty years whether it be Democrat or Republican in control.

It doesn't matter whether Mitt Romney or Barack Obama is elected as you know that nothing of real substance will change.

Democrats are voting in a defensive move in the knowledge that Obama is not the President who they had hoped would bring the change they had voted for 4 years ago. In fact he carried on and extended some of the worst Bush era policies. Policies that make the Democratic party a very illiberal "left-wing" party.

A left wing party that's idea of free health care was a sop to insurance companies that forces and fines people for not buying a product that wouldn't meet the standards of nearly every other western nation that provides health care free at the point of use to their citizens. They are also a party that thinks assassinating US citizens without trial is a wise and liberal thing to do.

A real left wing party would not be building up a police state around you brick by brick with an all invasive system like TRAPWIRE to track your every move. However they are voting for Obama only because they fear Romney would make things worse not better.

Republicans are voting in the misguided belief that Obama is some kind of Communist Muslim and that only a businessman who has put companies through bankruptcy whilst still making money for himself, and knows what it's like to offshore US jobs to China is required to get American growing again.

I just hope they don't feel disappointed if he is elected and a couple years down the road they are embroiled in another Middle Eastern war, with the police state still growing around them and any kind of a social safety net that they may need to rely on in the future has gone so that Romney's backers can get their tax cuts.

It is a difficult choice when your only options are between two people who are so similar and it's difficult to tell which one is worse.

However at the very least you need to know that there are other candidates out there wanting your vote. You should also want to know what they want to offer you before you put your mark next to Obama or Romney, whoever you think is the lesser of the evils.

The Third Party Presidential Candidates Debate Real Issues on Russia Today

The Third Party Presidential Candidates Debate Real Issues on Russia Today

By Dark Politricks

This is the full third party Presidential debate which was shown last night on Russia Today last night. Isn't it funny how it takes a Russian TV station to provide some kind of balance to the establishment stranglehold on American politics?

As Mitt Romney and President Obama both competed for the prize of Israels best friend in their last debate. Last night the third party Presidential candidates discussed real issues and many that haven't even been touched in the previous Presidential debates.

The candidates debating were Presidential candidates Jill Stein of the Green Party, Rocky Anderson of the Justice Party, Virgil Goode of the Constitution Party and Gary Johnson of the Libertarian Party.

Topics such as:
  • The corrupting influence of money in American politics.
  • The two party system being a stranglehold on the US democracy.
  • Student Debts.
  • Home foreclosure.
  • Zero rate interest loans to fatcats in Wall Street.
  • How both George W. Bush and President Obama have shredded the constitution through acts like the NDAA and PATRIOT Act.
  • The war on drugs being a total waste of money.
  • The hypocrisy of America attacking foreign countries for crimes they themselves commit.
  • Foreign wars based on a "pack of lies".
  • Term limits on politicians to prevent "jobs for life".
  • The little difference between the two establishment candidates
  • How the GOP and Democrats claim to support balanced budgets whilst Obama's budget is $1 trillion in deficit and vice-presidential candidate Paul Ryan would create a $800-billion deficit.
  • How Super PACS have ruined democracy in the USA.
  • Cuts to Planned Parenthood.
  • Proposed 43% cuts to the Department of Defense.
  • Stopping the USA from being the worlds policeman.
  • Cuts to Pell Grants.
  • A moratorium on green cards for immigrants until unemployment dropped below five percent for American citizens.
  • The rising police state in America.
  • Abolishing income taxes on individuals and corporations.
  • The impending "monetary collapse" where US dollars would be worthless thanks to the country's debts.
  • The use of the military to attack countries rather than it's proper use which is to defend the country and not invade others.
  • How the biggest threat to our national security is that we're bankrupt.
  • How immigration is a good thing for the USA.
  • Protecting marriage equality under the Constitution.
  • A Green New Deal that would bring renewable energy jobs to the USA and push it towards energy independence.
  • How the wealthy are wealthier than ever.
  • How the rest of America are forced to accept the austerity program that allows Washington to spend trillions on wars abroad and bail out Wall Street when it makes bad bets.
  • Making public higher education free for everyone.
  • How marijuana is dangerous on account of being illegal, not illegal on account of being dangerous.
  • Repealing laws that allow assassinations, wiretapping, as well as the the PATRIOT Act and NDAA.
  • Pushing for a constitutional amendment clarifying that money does not equate to speech and that corporations are not people.

How comes it takes Russia to show the USA how to hold a fair and balanced election?

How comes it takes Russia to show the USA how to hold a fair and balanced election?

By Dark Politricks

It comes to something when the USA, supposed home of liberty, freedom and refuge from tyranny, has to ask for external observers to their elections to stop them being stolen.

The USA is very good at labeling elections in countries such as Iran or Russia stolen or compromised but who are they to talk after the debacles of the Bush elections, the proven hackability of the Diebold electronic voting machines and all the voter suppression being carried out across America at the moment.

Not only do we have Republican Governors trying to introduce laws that would block a large percentage of people who would normally vote Democrat from voting by insisting on forms of ID that these people don't have or don't have time to get before the election.

We also have CEO's of companies telling their staff who to vote for, that their jobs depend on voting for Mitt Romney and even asking their workers to contribute to the Romney campaign whilst they fly around on their private jets.

Then we have the spectacle of Mitt Romney's son buying electronic voting machines that will be used in key swing states including Ohio - imagine the uproar by FOX News if Obama had done that!

Despite all the shenanigans going on to block or cajole people voting from one way or another we have the disappointing choice of two candidates who seem to differ very little on the important things as last nights debate shown.

Not only are both candidates in hock with Israel and sworn to protect it with the blood of American sons and daughters, but both are war mongers who will probably start a war with Iran in the next Presidency to distract people from the meltdown of the American economy and way of life.

Just as history shows us, first there is an economic collapse, then a massive wealth disparity between the top few percent of the country and the rest of us and then when things just don't get any better a war comes along. We should not let either of these two candidates lead us down this road again.

And why is it that these debates are only between Obama and Romney when there are more candidates standing for election? Is it because the debates are organised by the establishment themselves - yes - it is all facade meant to show that there is a difference between the two parties when none really exists.

There are many other candidates standing for election including Green, Libertarian, Constitution and Justice party candidates but we don't get to hear much from them.

Maybe if they had been allowed to debate the two establishment candidates in a real debate about important matters then it would have been much better to watch instead of just seeing the two candidates agree about important foreign policy issues.

Issues such as why do both men support giving US tax payers money straight to the banks that stole from the nation instead of locking them up in jail.

Or why do we always stand by Israel and talk about Iranian nukes when Israel has hundreds and uses the USA to fight her wars for it.

Or why are we fighting unbeatable wars on terror and drugs when we are stone cold broke. Just imagine all that tax revenue that would be brought in if Marijuana was legalised.

If you do want to watch a proper debate, one in which both candidates don't try and out warmonger each other, then RT.com is showing one tonight.

This is a debate which you can watch live between the Libertarian Party's Gary Johnson, Green Party's Jill Stein, Constitution Party candidate Virgil Goode, and Justice Party candidate Rocky Anders.

It comes to something when Russia has to show the USA how to conduct fair and balanced elections.
Not only did they install 15,000 cameras in polling booths so that every Russian citizen could watch and help prevent vote rigging they also had more than 2 candidates standing for election.

Also as they don't use electronic voting machines there is a paper trail that can be analysed after the fact. Something the American population cannot do with their easily hackable voting machines. Maybe there is a reason Ireland sold all their electronic voting machines as scrap metal.
